One step to improve your workflow and cash flow. By simply handing out Phreesia, you get legible documentation, automatic eligibility & benefits verification, payment from patients, and secure access to patient information.
How it works:
Patient arrives for visit and begins an electronic intake interview with Phreesia.
You get legible documentation that captures patients' medical history, demographic and insurance data Electronic signatures are collected on all practice policies and HIPAA contracts.
Returning patients verify rather than re-enter their information
Phreesia automatically verifies insurance eligibility and benefits using the information the patient has entered.
Patient's coverage is verified before seeing the clinician
Accurate, up-to-date insurance information reduces the chance of pended or denied claims.
Patient is prompted to pay copay and any open balances by swiping a major credit or debit card.
Instant payment maximizes revenue potential
Patients appreciate paying privately and securely
Patient information is securely stored on Phreesia's Practice Portal.
Information is easily accessed, tracked, and organized
Data can be viewed anywhere via secure logins provided to designated employees
My initial impression is that this sounds like a great project idea. An employer is more likely to contract with a given health plan's provider network if the providers are using technology to improve care delivery. The big question is whether this tool is truly cost-effective, given start-up and training costs, and whether non-tech savvy patients would be able to navigate this tool. The front desk may still need to walk some patients through the interview process.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dan. I believe the cities would be fine with this but the more rural areas would be a concern. I think that is an excellent pro/con for the project.
